Johann's Gift to Christmas

My brother purchased Johann's Gift to Christmas from Scholastic Books when he was in fifth grade. It turned out to be one of those gems he happened to stumble upon. His first reading of the story has remained a beloved Christmastime memory. If you're not familiar with it, it's the tale of how Johann, a church mouse living in a small Austrian village indirectly helps composer Franz Gruber write "Silent Night" by gnawing on the church bellows.

Ah, Christmas memories.
