RIP Gary Coleman

I feel a bit wistful whenever I hear the theme song for Diff'rent Strokes. I'm reminded plain and simple of the late 70s and early 80s and what it was like growing up during those times. There always seemed to be such struggle and sadness reflected by the cast of this show. And now, with the passing of Gary Coleman, it'll be tinged with yet another bit of sadness. RIP Gary Coleman.

  1. This is sad news. I never really watched this show but the clips that I've seen of it seem funny. I was more into The Facts of Life.

  2. The early seasons of Diff'rent Strokes were the best. Check 'em out if you can. The Facts of Life was one of my favorite shows. I still watch it. :)

  3. Isn't it surreal? It's just so weird, seems like yesterday all these shows were on.

I am sad to hear of that, along with the other celebrity icons we have lost so recently.

And Chells, the Facts of Life was one of my faves too! <3

  4. It really is surreal Jax. I haven't seen Diff'rent Strokes in ages but it seems like just yesterday that new episodes were airing! I liked those episodes when Arnold crossed over into The Facts of Life.
