At the Christmas Tree Lot

Courtesy of the artists of Dark Hall Mansion: we find Charlie Brown (like Linus in his pumpkin patch a month before) alone on a December's night, a withered tree in hand, contemplating the deeper meaning of Christmas. Contemplating—not in the Kirk Cameron self-righteous, historically incorrect and veiled with unChristlike intentions (hey that's my take) way but in the Charles M. Schulz thoughtful, spiritual yet humanist way that has been the hallmark of the Peanuts brand when it comes to holidays, cultural celebrations, baseball and life. Conflicted by the delights of anticipation with sadness, isolation, doubt and curiosity the characters are always grasping at finding meaning in their lives.

These posters capture the magic of A Charlie Brown Christmas beautifully and brilliantly.
